We received this hard drive with symptoms of having being encrypted with endpoint encryption software. The client claims that the drive was never encrypted, but they cannot get data from the drive.
On inspection of the drive, we found that we were able to bypass the encryption issue with a variety of techniques and recover all data from the drive.
The client was charged for a software recovery and was given over 500Gb of data from the original drive.
